lol..that is funny because one of the most important things to do to save gas is fill up when your tank is half full or half empty! the reason for this, the more gas you have in your tank the less air occupying its empty space. Gasoline evaporates faster then you can image. Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating roof to serve as a zero clearance between the gasoline and the atmosphere. So that would minimize the evaporation. I am not saying that half the full would not save money
Gas is heavy (the sources I googled said about 6 pounds per gallon). I’ve always had my tank filled up halfway to prevent spillage, except when I’m on vacation and know I’ll drive the excess off quickly. Every time I hear “fill your tank up”, it’s always a different hokey reason, the people that started that rumor are the same ones that want you to buy more gas, they don’t care if that gas leaks out on the ground.
I made 55/60 my new interstate speed and went from 48 mpg to 55.I take the routes that have the least resistance ie less stops and have found a route that has activity sensors to change the light to green quicker saves both time and money. Studying the patterns too keeps me moving one route can feed into a one lane another feeds into two with many outs. The fastest isn’t the winner it’s the most consistant.Remember the harder you work that car the sooner you need another$.
About the AC part, that has been proven to not be an issue that it was once believe to get worst gas milage when on when in fact with your windows done, you get worst, city or highway
